After 7 years of weekly blogs offering fresh design and decor tips each time, I ran into a bump in the road of life this week. I had to spend most of the week in the hospital which needless to say put me behind schedule. So I’m sharing an article I wrote a few years ago which covers a subject that is evergreen for sure (November 28, 2014):
With the holidays fast approaching, it’s inevitable that you’ll have extra people visiting your home. Whether it’s family and’or friends, everyone needs a place to sit.
Obviously, you don’t want the extra seating to remain in your entertainment area, so what to do?
There are many places in your home where you already have what you need and perhaps didn’t think about using because these pieces were part of the design for a particular room.
But they can serve a dual function and easily give you that extra seating when you need it.
Take a look at these photos. Most likely you’ll already have some of these examples. If not, you may see an idea that you’d like to add. A piece that would not only be functional, but is also beautiful and can add something special to your interior decor.

Until next time…

Blessings from my home to yours,

Dedicated to helping you create spaces that foster happiness and well-bein
